We are so thankful. Bill will receive his next round of chemo on December 26th. This allows our family (children and grandchildren) to come for Christmas and takes away the guesswork on whether Bill will be home or in the hospital. He is feeling a little better each day, but his hemoglobin is still in the anemic range, so he is tired.
No word on a bone marrow donor. We won’t have any information until January.
So, we are now getting ready for company. Kari, Jeff and Andrew fly in on Friday night. Jon, Laura, Janine, Don and Maggie arrive on Saturday. It will be a quick visit, but we will enjoy every moment. I’m sure the snow we have now will still be here for a week. Therefore, we should have a White Christmas.
Keep praying, for Bill and his potential donor. There has to be someone out there.
Merry Christmas.

Bill and Nancy, we just received your Christmas letter and learned of Bill's illness. We are praying for a complete recovery and that God will grant you a wonderful Christmas and New Year with the family. Pat's brother was given 6 months to live with liver cancer 4 years ago, but God continues to answer prayer and give him life. Doctors say they can't explain his recovery but we know the source. We are praying for the same miracle for you. Merry Christmas and let us know if we can do anything. Bruce and Pat Sparks
So glad the kids will be home. Don't spoil Maggie or Andrew too much. Be sure to take lots of pictures to show us. I know one of the three will step up to the plate. This is what they signed up for. Shelby broke her ankle Friday, so that has slowed us down, some. Noah's birthday is the 20, but we are celebrating it today. He still looks like Shannon and David. Poor kid!!1
Love all the Hubers and those that married into the family.

Hi Nancy & Bill,
I read your new blog last night and am hoping for the National Donor numbers to increase. I see that you are having bad weather that direction so I doubt that you two were able to get out to church today. Maggie is sooo cute on Santa's lap. Mary, Carla's six year old, still cries when she sees Santa. We are going to a party at the Country Club today and we will find out how she does this year. She has promised not to cry. heh
Hang in there Bill! The kids and grandchildren will be there soon and you will perk up before you realize what's going on. They have a way to keep us going.
Love to all,
Mary Jo
With all that load of family coming in - remember this saying - the best Christmas lights are the tail lights on the family cars as they pull out of the driveway. Will call again soon.

Rest up now - being a Nana and Grandpap is hard work! We grandparents will do just about anything to have those munchkins around. We are still waiting for Landon to arrive - he likes where he is and is in no hurry to meet the world!
The holidays are a blessed season - and we have have been blessed.
Enjoy, Enjoy, Enjoy!
We will keep praying for that match to come forward soon. But as we well know, we Hubers are a unique group - just hope not tooooooooo unique!!!
