February 13th- Calling in the troops

Bill is having a medical issue where he is just not making blood. His white cells, hemoglobin and platelets are just not multiplying. Each day since he has been home, the numbers have gone down just a little bit. They should be multiplying. His body is just wore out, and the bone marrow is tired. On Friday the doctor will do another bone marrow biopsy to see what the Leukemia blasts count might be in his marrow. It will be next week before we have the results.
If the blast count is high (over 5 %) we have a problem. If it is under 1 % he is ready for a bone marrow transplant. Any number in between, we have some time.
We need your help to let the Lord know we have a priority customer here who needs his help. Let’s send out this prayer to the only one who has any control over our bodies.
May His will be done.

Just returned home from work and wanted to check in on Bill. I wish I lived close enough to bring in dinner for Valentine's Day to both of you. Hang in there and put all this in the hands of our higher power. Something positive is surely in the tests for Friday. Many prayers are being prayed for Bill and also for Nancy. Maggie looks like she is crawling your way. Did she have a first haircut? She is so cute.

Love,
Mary Jo

I'm praying for you:
God, I ask that you be with Bill and Nancy. Put your loving and healing arms around them. Let them feel your presence and the love and support of the Grace faith community. I pray that Bill's body will be producing what he needs to continue to fight. Be with them and grant them peace and hope. Amen.
Love to both of you,
Margaret Harrison

Knowing the power of prayer, we are praying for Bills recovery and strength for the family. George and I have called upon the Felician Sisters community to pray for Bill. We know personally that they know God on a first name bases. Also, Fr. Fred at St.Vincent Abby in Latrobe is praying for Bill. We love you and will help in anyway possible. George and Janet

Bill and Nancy,

Even though we're far away, we keep you in our thoughts and prayers. We'll lift you up in a new Lenten healing service our church in Broomfield, CO is holding on Sunday as well.

Blessings!

Judy and John

Between the day to day activities, we stop to send a pray up to God on Bill's behalf. It has added to our appreciation of this beautiful time of the year, Lent. May God continue to give you all strength as we continue to pray for Bill's healing.
