Easy week

Just a quick update to let you know Bill is really having a good week, in moderation.
I dropped him off at work on Tuesday, for what was suppose to be one hour, and he wanted to stay 2 hours. The visit was wonderful for his well being. And he really enjoyed seeing his work friends.
Visitors came by on Wednesday. Church friends, as well as Sponge Bob, witches and goblins.
Tonight Kari, Jeff, and baby Andrew arrive, and Friday we go back to the Cancer Clinic for chemo injection into his spinal fluid.
This weekend is Kari's 30th birthday. (Our "baby" is 30!!) Been a long time since I have baked a birthday cake, but I am up to the challenge. No store baked cake here!
Jeff has offered to help with some of the fall cleanup jobs around the yard. I am going to take him up on that offer. Hope he brings a warm coat, the weather has turned cold.
Thank you again for your interest in Bill's illness and his well being. We are all players in the fight for his life.

Hi Bill and Nance,
So glad to hear that Bill is having a good week. We just can't keep these Type A men away from the office! Enjoy your visit with Kari, Jeff and baby Andrew. Hey Bill, Pete and I got to spend some time yesterday with L.C. Greenwood. His company does some work for HLC. What a nice man. Good luck on Friday. We think of you always. Much love, Jeannie

Status quo is always good - and going into the office is probably the best medicine for my dear brother. I am sure that baby
Andrew will just love his Grandpap. And watch out Jeff - I am sure the "honey do" list will keep you busy - like you aren't already.

I am sure that that 30th birthday cake will be one for the record books - it is nice to know that our kids get older, but we stay the same - in our minds, anyway!

Keep in touch - love the updates,

Love, prayers, and good health,
Gail, Marty and Mom

Dad - glad you're having a good week. I hope there was some leftover candy for your newly acquired sweet tooth!

And I don't know how Kari can be 30, since I'm still 29. :P
Love, Janine

Glad to hear Uncle Bill is having a good week. When the patient has a good day, the care taker has one too. Enjoy the weekend. Baby Andrew is adorable. I can't believe how much a baby can look like its father!! Tell Kari Happy Birthday!! Enjoy!!
Lots of Love and Prayers,
E.B.

Uncle Bill,
Glad to hear all is well this week. And I hope all is well today.
Sorry I missed the chat room the other night. I forgot you all were an hour behind.
Have fun with your grandson this weekend! Kari, contrary to popular opinion...30 IS NOT OLD! You are just getting started.
Much Love and continued prayer!

Bill & Nancy,

Glad you had a good week. I am at Carla's watching the girls while she and John are in San Jose Cabo, Mexico for a business trip with John's company. I can definitely tell I'm getting older every time I try to keep up with the Cain girls. Don't tell me Kari is 30? She was only 12 when I first met her. Hannah is 12 now. Time flies!! Bill, hope you keep up the good work and tell Jeff to stop by and he can rake a few leaves for me. Enjoy Andrew!
Happy Birthday Kari!
Love to all,
Mary Jo
