November 25- Doing better

Just a quick note to say our prayers have been answered again.
Bill is no longer experiencing double vision. It stopped as quickly as it had started and seems to be chemo related. Football is a lot easier to watch when only one quarterback is throwing the ball.

His body is making white cells and platelets again, and the red cells should catch up this week. He hopefully will be feeling much better by this weekend. We are headed back to the Cancer Clinic on Monday for another chemo shot and to meet with the doctor. If there is any new information, I will share that with you Monday night.

I don't know what was better this weekend.

A little post-game humor:

Today Andre' Woodson got really hurt at prctice and Rich Brooks called 911. The 911 operator told Rich that she would send someone out right away.
"Where you guys at?" asked the operator.
Bubba replied, "At the practice field on Eucalyptus Drive."
The operator asked, "Can you spell that for me?
"There was a long pause and finally Rick said, "How 'bout if I drag Woodson over to Oak Street and you pick him up there?"

Sorry UK fans... the streak continues.
Thanks for a great Thanksgiving, Mom & Dad! Maggie now has Grandpap & Nana-itis!

You go Janine. Great news story on Woodson. After the Alamadamnbaba game people here wanted to fired Fulmer. Today the UT AD stated that he will get an extension to his contract and likely a raise. What a ride. I talked to a friend who went to the game and usually the KY fans scream wait until Basketball season but no one was saying that Saturday for some reason. OK Bill, now back to you - Glad to see that everything is going well on the recovery road. On double vision - imagine trying to hit two golf balls with two clubheads at the same time - Hell, I have a hard time with one of each. Keep recovering buddy. We are not going to Atlanta - too many bad memories there from 1999 on.

Oh, Nancy. Can't wait until your UK friends read your note. What a great weekend you guys had. Hope the next ones go as well. I know you didn't spoil Maggie!!! The new updated pictures are really appreciated. Mike Fields is doing well enough to go to Cozumel. Did I tell you he was back in the hospital and got a pacemaker? Nothing new here. Boring is good.
Love you guys.

Glad you are only seeing one of everything again. Two of Maggie might have been nice. I'm not a Tennessee fan but wow what a game!!!

Hope all goes well with your Monday treatment.

Enjoy the Steelers tonight.

Thinking of you often and saying many prayers,
Love,
Paula and in absentia Jim who is deer hunting

Bill, thank goodness the double vision went away! I hope nothing new came up today.

All this football talk is almost like listening to a foreign language; I feel like I should be able to understand what everyone is talking about, but I totally don't! Oh well. At the risk of looking shallow, I'll say this anyway.... Anyone want to talk about Project Runway or Beauty and the Geek??? :)

I'm glad to hear that you had such a good weekend. Of course, it's just one of many more to come! Take care, both of you.
