Bill is so comfortable at home. His bed, his TV, friends and family visiting everyday, and a good nights rest. In the past two weeks, at least one of our children has been with us everyday. They have rotated in and out of Chicago and have been a tremendous help. It is such a joy to have them here.
Local friends have been by daily, but our biggest surprise was a visit from a friend from Kentucky and one from WV who drove into town, visited for a few hours, and turned around and drove home. Bill enjoyed seeing them so much, and so did I.
The cancer has not returned, as of this writing. His body is frail, and energy level is low. We are taking each day, one day at a time.

How wonderful to see old friends! And wow, you have some great friends! I'm thankful to hear that the cancer has not returned so far. With such good company and good food, Bill's strength is sure to increase soon. :)

It warms our hearts that he is home enjoying every day and soaking up the warm sun we have been blessed with. Just take it easy and take a day at a time and enjoy it. God Bless you, your family and friends.
Everyday when George and I wake up we can't wait to read the morning news from "The Chicage Huber." It is great to learn that the prayers we said last night are being answered today. May you continue on this path of healing.

So glad things are going well and family and friends are coming over. That can be so cheering and just Maggie alone wouold lift most anyone's spirits.
