April 28th- Until we meet again...

While holding the hand of his wife, Bill took his last breaths and took his place in Heaven just before midnight on Sunday.
While his battle with leukemia was strong and full of fight, his last moments were peaceful and full of love.

The Huber family extends our deepest thanks to all of you that have been a part of this journey. We cannot begin to express how much so many of you have done to give us strength. You have made a lasting imprint on our lives.

May the road rise to meet you.

May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
Amen.

Nancy,

I was so sorry to hear the news about Bill. He touched so many lives and will be missed by all. I know that he will always be with you in spirit, and I hope it is a comfort that he lives on in his children and grandchildren.

If you ever need company or anything at all, just say the word. We are only a few short steps away.

Our condolences,
Janet and John

I'm Free
Don't grieve for me for now I'm free
I'm following the path God laid for me
I took his hand when I heard him call
I turned my back and left it all
I could not stay another day;
To laugh, to love, to worry or to play
Task left undone must stay that way
I found peace at the close of the day.
If my parting has left a void;
Then fill it with joy
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss
And yes, these things I too will miss
Be not burdened with times of sorrow
I wish you sunshine of tomorrow
My life's been full, I savored much
Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch
"Perhaps my time seemed all too brief"
Don't lengthen it now with undo grief
Lift up your heart and share with me
God wanted me now; He set me free

I found this poem in my bible this morning, and it helped me find some peace amoungst the sadness. My thoughts and prayers will continue to be with you.
Love,
Melissa

Nancy,Janine,Kari & Jon,
There are no words to tell you how sorry I am for all of you right now. I had intentions of making the trip to Naperville but have waited too late. It isn't every day that our paths cross with people like Bill and his family.

My heart goes out to all of you and please know I am grieving with you. May God be close to the family, friends, co-workers and all that have been a part of this journey of Bill's last days.

Love to all,
Mary Jo

Bill is at peace - and so are we. So glad we got to see him last weekend. God does work in wonderous ways. It is hard to say good bye to a wonderful brother and son, but knowing he is already in a much better place brings peace to all of us. We will always remember.

Love to all of you,
Gail, Marty and Mom

Through business contact I knew Bill. I did not know him long nor can I say I even knew him well. But he sure was a good man and I liked him. He touched many people.

What a celebration and welcoming there was in heaven on Monday when Bill arrived. He is safe in the arms of god, free of pain and well again and he will be waiting for his beloved family to join him. My prayers now will be for all of them and you especially, Nancy. Although we have never met, you are close to my heart.

God Bless you and keep you safely in his arms.

God loves Bill as much as we did here on earth. We would have loved to have witnessed his arrival as our Lord embraced our friend and brother.

Dear Nancy,

Marie and I just returned to Naperville from the 2008 Coal Prep Show in Lexington KY. on Saturday afternoon. On the way back, we received a phone call from a mutual colleague of Bill and I informing us of Bill's passing. We wish we could have been at the services.

Bill was a true gentleman as well as a gentle man. Like so many others who knew him, we will miss him. The world is worse for his passing but we can all be sure that heaven is now an even better place.

Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help you in this difficlt time.

Nancy & Family,
Lynn called on Saturday to let us know about Bill's death.Although we didn't know him as well as many, we so enjoyed his kind, positive spirit. The two of you really complimented one another. Our prayers are with all of you as you grieve the loss of his physical presence here on earth, but it is evident that your faith will help all of you move forward. God's blessings on all of you.

Love & Prayers,
Gail, Craig, Chad, & Robyn
