October 22- Quick Update

Just a quick update to let you know Bill is doing fine.
Over the weekend his CBC (blood count) took a dive, as it should for the next 2 weeks. So he can no longer be exposed to bacteria, viruses, or fungus. Home Health Care came by Sat and Sun to give him transfusions of red cells and platelets to keep the numbers stable.
We saw the hematologist today for just a visit, and will return on Tuesday for his second chemo injection in his Ommaya Reservior, more platelets, and have his stitches removed from surgery. So, it's a big day tomorrow. All this should be accomplished by noon.
Hopefully, Tuesday's visits will be uneventful, but I will let you know tomorrow evening.
Nancy

Not much time to enter the chat room, but want you to know we think of all of you daily. We are knee deep in wedding preps, trying to keep our heads above water! Glad things are going as expected - no more unexpected, please! Status quo is a good place to be!

Love, prayers, and good health,
Gail, Marty, and Mom

Bill and Nancy,

I wrote on the blog yesterday, but put it under the 19th. I am off line more than I am on these days.

We leave bright and early tomorrow morning for Philadelphia to visit and watch our grand daughter there while the kids go to New York City with friends.

We both think about you two all of the time. We will try to pick up the blog from there.

How old is Jon that he uses the phrase dollars to donuts??

Good luck tomorrow!!

Love, Pam and Jeff

Good Luck Tomorrow. Don't you love the runnings of a hospital. Don't be surprised if you don't get out of there until ummm...5ish!! LOL!!!

Hope it goes well today. Let the hospital know that your time is important, so that you can get out early.

Thinking of you daily and hope today goes well without any hiccups.

Good Luck today with the visit to your doctor and also in getting out by noon. I'm with John, hopefully Bill will get home in time for a short nap before dinner. He will probably sleep through dinner. ha
Hang in there Bill and Nancy I know you are a good coach. Keep your foot behind him. You will need a couple extra hands when you get to keep both the grandchildren for a week.
Love to all,
Mary Jo

I'm with Jon. You will be home by 6 or 7 o'clock. Glad you get to stay home in your own bed. I know things will go well, so don't worry. Love you guys.

Good news, glad to hear it. Keeping you in thoughts. The right decisions are ahead and good folks like Bill, Nancy & family make right decisions routinely. This time is no exception.
